Trump's new tariffs will take effect on August 7th, with the U.S. imposing tariffs of at least 10% on all other countries, with punitive tariff rates of 39% and 25% for countries such as Switzerland and India, respectively. Some countries may still be able to negotiate lower tariff rates.
