BlockBeats News, August 14th, U.S. Treasury Secretary Yellen stated that the possibility of starting with a 25 basis point rate cut and accelerating from there, believing there is room for a series of rate cuts. She did not call on the Fed to cut rates to 1.5%. There was no call for consecutive rate cuts by the Fed, just pointing out that models show the neutral rate at a lower level. (FXStreet)
