During an interview with the South China Morning Post, CZ stated that Hong Kong has the potential to become a major hub for virtual assets, comparable to markets like the United States and the UAE. However, Hong Kong's regulatory agencies must act swiftly to fully unleash this potential.

CZ suggested expanding the range of cryptocurrencies that licensed exchanges in Hong Kong can trade and following Japan's model by allowing exchanges to determine which tokens can be traded.
