BlockBeats News, August 15th, according to Decrypt's report, the Czech police have detained convicted drug dealer Tomas Jirikovsky and seized his 45 million USD worth of Bitcoin and other related assets donated to the Czech Ministry of Justice. The donation took place earlier this year, and the then Minister of Justice, Pavel Blazek, accepted the donation without verifying its source. Pavel Blazek later resigned in May amidst growing criticism. Prosecutors stated that the focus of the investigation has now shifted to suspected money laundering and illegal drug trading.
