Analyst: ECB's 2027 Inflation Expectation Slightly Low, Potentially Biggest Surprise

BlockBeats News, September 11th, an institutional analyst stated that the most intriguing change was the adjustment to the 2027 inflation expectation: overall inflation rate decreased to 1.9%, core inflation rate decreased to 1.8%. The lower 2027 inflation expectation may increase pressure on the euro and keep the speculation of a rate cut alive.
The euro's decline widened to 0.3%, German bonds erased moderate losses, and year-end expectations in the money market slightly turned more moderate, with the current estimate of easing magnitude at around 7 basis points. (FXStreet)
