According to forecasts, the PCE Price Index is expected to rise by 0.3% in July, unchanged from the previous month. If this forecast is realized, the year-on-year growth rate of PCE inflation will increase from 2.8% to 2.9%, the highest level since February this year, and it will also be the third consecutive month of increase.
Economists say that high inflation may limit the room for further rate cuts later this year.
