Metaplanet Plans to Raise Up to Approximately $3.828 Billion to Increase Bitcoin Holdings

BlockBeats News, September 2nd, Japanese publicly traded company Metaplanet has received shareholder approval to raise up to 555 billion yen through preferred stock issuance for investing in Bitcoin, approximately $3.28 billion.

On September 1st, Japanese publicly traded company Metaplanet once again purchased an additional 1,009 bitcoins, bringing its total holding to 20,000 BTC.
