BlockBeats News, November 2nd, Tesla CEO Musk made a prediction about a radical future on a podcast: in the next 5-6 years, traditional phones and apps will disappear, and most of the content consumed by humans will be generated by AI.

Musk believes that "there will be no operating system in the future, no apps; your phone will just display pixels and emit sounds, predicting what you most want to see and hear, and then generating it in real-time. We will integrate AI into this device as much as possible. ... There won't be traditional phones anymore; our so-called phone is actually an edge node for AI inference, equipped with some radio modules for connectivity."

Musk proposes the view that essentially server-side AI will communicate with AI on user devices (previously known as phones) and generate any real-time video the user desires. (Yicai)
