Native USDC and Circle’s CCTP V2 will be launched on Sei

By: odaily.com|2025/07/11 12:16:33

Odaily News USDCs cross-chain transfer protocol CCTP V2 will soon be launched on Sei Network, supporting the high-speed and low-cost circulation of native USDC across multiple chains. This integration will introduce USDC, the worlds largest compliant stablecoin, to Sei, improve network liquidity, and strengthen its position as an institutional-level financial infrastructure.
Native USDC has 1:1 US dollar convertibility, full reserves and compliance attributes, and can access institutional-level deposit and withdrawal channels through Circle Mint. CCTP V2 will enable seamless transfer of USDC between Sei and other public chains, helping to build an efficient cross-chain application liquidity routing infrastructure.
It is reported that Circle is one of Sei’s early investors. Circle Ventures partner Wyatt Lonergan said that he will work closely with the Sei team to jointly promote the development of stablecoin transactions and open finance.
