Riot Blockchain's Net Revenue Reaches $219.5 Million in Q2, Mining Cost Doubles Year Over Year

BlockBeats News, August 1, according to TheBlock, Bitcoin mining firm Riot Platforms achieved a net revenue of $219.5 million in the second quarter of 2025, reversing a net loss of nearly $300 million in the first quarter. As of this year, Riot Platforms has incurred a net loss of $76.9 million. Due to the global average network hash rate increase, the cost of mining one Bitcoin has increased by 93% compared to the same period last year. Riot Platforms mined 1,426 Bitcoins in the second quarter, bringing their total holdings to 19,273 Bitcoins, ranking fourth among publicly traded global companies.
