SoFi Partners with Lightspark to Enable Bitcoin Lightning Network for Global Remittance Business

BlockBeats News, August 20th, according to CoinDesk reports, SoFi Technologies is set to enable remittance payments on the Bitcoin second-layer network — the Lightning Network — through a partnership with Lightspark, aiming to provide its users with real-time international transfer services.


SoFi announced that it will integrate Lightspark's Universal Merchant Address (UMA) running on the Bitcoin Lightning Network to support near-instant cross-border payments.
