US prosecutors expect to conclude Tornado Cash co-founder Roman Storm case by July 25
Odaily News Prosecutors for the Southern District of New York continue to pursue charges against Tornado Cash co-founder and developer Roman Storm, with the trial expected to last about a month.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Thane Rehn said the prosecution expects to wrap up its case against Storm by the end of next week, after which lawyers for the Tornado Cash co-founder will begin calling their own witnesses. Storm said he expects the trial to last 3-4 weeks due to complex legal arguments and unforeseen witnesses and evidence.
With the prosecution expected to close its case by July 25, Storms lawyers have revealed the defense strategy they will present in court. Before the trial began, Storm said he was unsure whether his legal team would allow him to testify in person in his own defense. (Cointelegraph)
