Security Firm: Over 40 Fake Cryptocurrency Wallet Extensions Found on the Firefox Browser Official Add-on Store
BlockBeats News, July 3rd, Slowmist Technology's Chief Information Security Officer 23pds tweeted that security firm Koi revealed more than 40 fake cryptocurrency wallet extension programs on the Firefox browser's official plugin store, mimicking popular wallets such as MetaMask and Coinbase Wallet.
These malicious plugins steal mnemonic phrases by implanting event listening code and send the data back to the attacker's server.
