A Whale Increases Ethereum Short Position to 70,000 ETH, Liquidation Price at $3,686

BlockBeats News, August 6th, according to @EmberCN's monitoring, the [Four-time ETH 75% Win Rate Whale] continued to persist in shorting ETH this morning: at 6 a.m., it was still adding to its ETH short position, currently holding a short position of up to 70,000 ETH (approximately $252 million).

Position Details: Shorting 70,000 ETH with 15x leverage, worth $252 million, opening price at $3618, liquidation price at $3686, with unrealized gains of over $1.33 million.

Bitcoin surged this morning, surpassing $114,000, while Ethereum surged past $3,600.

Yesterday Grayscale ETH saw a net outflow of $13.4 million, while ETHE had a net outflow of $10.9 million.
