AML Bitcoin Founder Sentenced to 7 Years in Prison for Multi-Million Dollar Cryptocurrency Fraud
BlockBeats News, July 30th: According to TheBlock, AML Bitcoin founder and NAC Foundation CEO Rowland Marcus Andrade has been sentenced to 84 months (7 years) in prison by a U.S. federal court for his involvement in telecommunication fraud and money laundering related to the cryptocurrency AML Bitcoin. The court found that Andrade, between 2014 and 2019, deceived investors by falsely promoting AML Bitcoin's technology, business potential, and launch date, raising approximately $10 million, of which over $2 million was used for personal expenses such as real estate and luxury cars. A hearing on victim compensation and asset forfeiture is scheduled for September 16, 2025.
