Aptos Receives Another $500M Deployment from Blackrock's BUIDL Fund, RWA Scale Ranks Third Globally

By: theblockbeats.news|2025/10/22 06:15:52

BlockBeats News, October 22nd, BlackRock's Digital Horizon Fund (BUIDL) has added $500 million in tokenized assets deployment to Aptos, elevating its adoption ranking in the BUIDL fund deployment to the second position, only behind Ethereum. As of the time of writing, the scale of Aptos' on-chain RWA tokenized assets has exceeded $1.2 billion, ranking third globally.

The BUIDL Fund was launched by BlackRock in collaboration with the tokenization infrastructure platform Securitize, with underlying assets covering cash, US Treasuries, and repurchase agreements, among other low-risk high-liquidity assets. It was initially deployed on Ethereum in March 2024 and expanded to Aptos and other chains in November 2024.

This move reflects the accelerating trend of traditional financial giants shifting to blockchain infrastructure. Leveraging its high performance, security, and low-cost advantages, Aptos is becoming a crucial gateway for institutional asset tokenization.
