Odaily News Ghana is finalizing a regulatory framework for cryptocurrency trading to bring trading platforms and other digital asset platforms under formal regulation, said Johnson Asiama, governor of the Bank of Ghana. Regulation will enable the Bank of Ghana to bring virtual currencies under its anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing rules and ensure that digital innovation supports rather than undermines exchange controls and monetary stability.
