EigenCloud partners with LayerZero to launch the cross-chain validation network EigenZero

BlockBeats News, November 13th, Ethereum Layer 2 Staking Platform EigenCloud collaborates with cross-chain interoperability protocol LayerZero to launch EigenZero.

EigenZero is a decentralized validation network based on the CryptoEconomic DVN Framework, supported by EigenCloud's infrastructure and backed by around $5 million worth of ZRO token staking assets, introducing economic punishment constraints for cross-chain message validation.

It adopts the Optimism verification model, setting an 11-day challenge period under the assumption that messages are correct by default. Once proven erroneous or malicious behavior is detected upon final confirmation, the corresponding staked assets will be slashed, providing security guarantees for cross-chain applications.
