Entity: European Central Bank may cut interest rates by 25 basis points in December
BlockBeats News, September 10th - In a report, analysts Alain Durre and Hadrien Camatte from Société Générale stated that the European Central Bank (ECB) is still likely to carry out a final 25 basis point rate cut in December, provided that the slowdown in the labor market is more severe than expected, and inflation is well below target due to the decline in energy prices and further appreciation of the euro. The analysts mentioned that the probability of the ECB making a final rate cut at the December meeting is 60%, with the terminal deposit rate at 1.75%. It is expected that the ECB will keep its policy rate unchanged on Thursday, with the deposit rate remaining at 2.00%. (FXStreet)
