BlockBeats News, July 30th. Today, Ethereum celebrates its 10th anniversary. Over the past decade, ETH has risen from $0.3 to over $4000, ranking as the 28th largest asset in the world. It has grown to become the second largest cryptocurrency by market cap, second only to Bitcoin. Ethereum is widely used in DeFi, NFTs, and other areas, earning the title of the "world's computer" and subtly reshaping our world.

In 2014, Ethereum raised about 31,000 Bitcoins, worth around $18 million at the time, through an ICO (Initial Coin Offering). At the time of the ICO, the price of Bitcoin was around $600. By 2025, the price of Bitcoin had surpassed $120,000, a 200x increase. Ethereum is currently priced at $3774, representing an increase of approximately 12,580 times over the same period.
