Galaxy Research Head: U.S. Government Likely to Establish Strategic Bitcoin Reserve This Year
BlockBeats News, September 13th, according to Cointelegraph's report, Galaxy Digital's Global Head of Research, Alex Thorn, stated, "I still believe that the U.S. government is very likely to announce the establishment of a strategic Bitcoin reserve this year and formally hold Bitcoin as a strategic asset. The market seems to be completely underestimating the possibility of this news announcement."
However, other industry executives are not as confident. Some signs indicate that the plan is moving forward.
Although U.S. President Trump signed an executive order in March to formally establish a strategic Bitcoin reserve and U.S. Digital Asset Reserve, an official strategic plan has not yet been confirmed.
