If Ethereum Breaks its All-Time High, Mainstream CEX Cumulative Short Liquidation Pressure Will Reach $2.218 Billion

By: theblockbeats.news|2025/08/14 11:22:04

BlockBeats News, August 14th, according to Coinglass data, if Ethereum breaks through the $4868 all-time high, the cumulative short liquidation intensity of mainstream CEXs will reach $2.218 billion.

Conversely, if Ethereum falls below $4600, the cumulative long liquidation intensity of mainstream CEXs will reach $3.342 billion.

BlockBeats Note: The liquidation chart does not show the exact number of contracts awaiting liquidation or the exact value of contracts being liquidated. The bars on the liquidation chart actually represent the importance of each liquidation cluster relative to neighboring liquidation clusters, i.e., intensity.

Therefore, the liquidation chart shows to what extent the price of the underlying asset will be affected when it reaches a certain level. A higher "liquidation bar" indicates that once the price reaches that level, a more intense reaction will occur due to a liquidity cascade.
