Metaplanet extensively exercised stock options and redeemed a portion of the bonds early
BlockBeats News, August 27th - Metaplanet Inc. announced today that during the period from August 14th to 26th, 2025, EVO FUND significantly exercised its Series 20 stock subscription rights, totaling 27,500,000 shares, accounting for 14.86% of the total issued shares. At the same time, the company used the funds obtained from the exercise of subscription rights to partially redeem ¥5,250,000,000 of the Series 19 common bonds, following multiple redemptions in July and early August, totaling ¥21,000,000,000 in redemptions.
After this stock issuance, the company's total issued shares increased to 739,714,340 shares, and the unexercised subscription rights decreased to 460,000 rights (equivalent to 46,000,000 shares).
