OpenAI refutes Robinhoods launch of its tokenized shares, saying it has neither authorized nor endorsed
Odaily News OpenAI has publicly opposed Robinhoods offer of its tokenized private shares to EU users, saying we have not worked with, participated in, or endorsed Robinhood. Robinhood announced this week that it will offer stock tokens of more than 200 private companies (including OpenAI and SpaceX) for users to trade. OpenAI stressed that any transfer of shares requires its approval and that the action is unauthorized. Robinhood explained that what it provided was a blockchain-based price tracking contract, not actual shares. (The Block)
