Plasma Bolsters Executive Team Ahead of Mainnet Launch
BlockBeats News, September 9th, according to Blockworks report, Plasma has recently hired Murat Firat as Head of Product, Adam Jacobs as Global Head of Payments, and Usmann Khan as Head of Protocol Security. Plasma has not yet publicly announced the mainnet launch date.
The new executives at Plasma come from diverse backgrounds. Firat previously founded the Turkish cryptocurrency exchange and issuer of the Turkish Lira stablecoin BiLira. Jacobs was formerly the Global Head of Payments at FTX and later worked at the Canadian fintech company Nuvei. Khan ranked sixth on the leaderboard of the crypto bug bounty platform ImmuneFi.
