Plasma has regained control of the X platform account, and the hacker attack was carried out through the platform backend
Odaily News Plasma posted on the X platform that its official account was taken over by an external attacker at about 11:00 today. The team immediately activated the early warning mechanism and completed the system investigation. The account has been restored to control and no financial risks have been found.
Plasma founder @pauliepunt said that the attackers are suspected of modifying the organizations login credentials through the X platform management backend. At present, the relevant traces have been cleared and the account security measures have been strengthened.
Plasma will continue to conduct a comprehensive post-event analysis and provide an explanation after obtaining more information. The official emphasized that its vault assets were not affected in the incident and a professional security team has been contacted to assist in the investigation.
