Ripple Confirms Plan to Apply for MiCA License to Expand EU Market
BlockBeats News, July 15th, according to Cointelegraph, payment solution company Ripple has confirmed plans to apply for the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) license to expand into the European Union market.
A Ripple spokesperson stated that the company intends to "achieve MiCA compliance" as it recognizes the "significant opportunity in the European market."
At the time of this announcement, Ripple had completed the registration of Ripple Payments Europe S.A. in Luxembourg at the end of April this year.
