BlockBeats News: On September 1st, Solana's new consensus protocol Alpenglow proposal SIMD-0326 was voted through. Alpenglow aims to reduce block finality time from 12.8s to around 150 ms.
The voting rule requires a 2/3 majority of the total number of (For + Against) votes for the proposal to pass.
