Solana developers are considering increasing the network’s block capacity by 66%
Odaily News As demand for block space grows, Solana developers are considering increasing the network’s block capacity by 66%. According to a document released by core contributors this week, a new proposal, SIMD-0286, proposes to increase Solana’s compute unit (CU) cap per block from 60 million to 100 million.
The proposal aims to allow Solana to process more transactions and support more complex applications such as decentralized exchanges (DEX), MEV systems, and re-staking protocols without hitting the computational ceiling. (Coindesk)
