BlockBeats News, July 3rd, according to local media reports, South Korea's KB Kookmin Card Company has submitted 35 trademark applications related to stablecoins, covering names such as "KBCSTB," "KBCST," "KBCKRW," and others.
This move is seen as a strategic deployment to seize the Korean won-pegged stablecoin market. KB Kookmin Card has become the second major credit card institution in Korea to enter the stablecoin field, following Shinhan Card.
