Strategy Releases Q2 Financial Report: Holds 628,791 Bitcoins, Digital Asset Unrealized Gain of $14 Billion
BlockBeats News, August 1st, According to the Q2 financial report released by Strategy, the company's total revenue in Q2 was $11.45 billion, a year-on-year increase of 2.7%. Operating revenue was approximately $14.03 billion, a 7,106% increase from the same period last year. This includes Strategy's unrealized gains of $14 billion in digital assets.
This is the second quarterly reporting period in which the company has adopted fair value accounting. Calculated based on the cost impairment accounting model applicable before January 1, 2025, the impairment loss of digital assets in the second quarter of 2024 was $1.8 billion.
Operating revenue was $14.03 billion, while in the second quarter of 2024, there was a loss of $2.003 billion. Net profit was $10.02 billion, with diluted earnings per share of $32.60, compared to a loss per share of $0.57 in the same period last year.
As of July 30, Strategy holds 628,791 bitcoins, with a total cost of $46.07 billion, equivalent to $73,277 per bitcoin.
