Tencent is in discussions to become the largest shareholder of AI agent company Manus, with plans to repurchase all shares from Meta at an estimated valuation of around $2 billion. According to sources, after the transaction is completed, Tencent will maintain a minority shareholder status and will not take control. Tencent has not yet responded to this news.
