The Indonesian Central Bank will launch a Government Securities-supported Digital Shield CBDC

BlockBeats News, October 30th, according to Cointelegraph, the Governor of the Central Bank of Indonesia stated that the bank plans to issue a digital central bank security, which is a tokenized version of the government bond (SBN) based on the country's Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) Digital Shield. Indonesia will digitally issue Central Bank Securities — a digital shield backed by government bonds, serving as Indonesia's national version of a stablecoin.

The market capitalization of USD Stablecoins has reached $303.5 billion, experiencing a significant growth of approximately 50% since the beginning of the year.
