The US Attorney's Office expects to conclude the case of Tornado Cash co-founder Roman Storm by July 25th.
BlockBeats News, July 18th, according to Cointelegraph's report, the New York Southern District Attorney continues to charge Tornado Cash co-founder and developer Roman Storm, with the trial expected to last about a month.
Assistant District Attorney Thane Rehn stated that the prosecution expects to conclude the statement of charges against Storm by the end of next weekend, after which Tornado Cash's co-founder's lawyer will begin summoning their own witnesses. Storm said he expects the trial to last "3-4 weeks" due to complex legal arguments and unforeseen witnesses and evidence.
Given the prosecution's expectation to conclude the statements by July 25th, Storm's lawyer has already revealed the defense strategy they will present in court. Before the trial begins, Storm said he is unsure if his legal team will allow him to testify in person to defend himself.
