White House: The Presidents of Russia and Ukraine have expressed their willingness to sit down for negotiations

BlockBeats News, August 20th: On August 19th local time, White House Press Secretary Levi stated that the U.S. military will not deploy inside Ukraine but can provide assistance in coordination and security. Trump has instructed the National Security Council to coordinate with Europe.

Levi stated that Trump has proposed a solution for NATO to purchase American weapons. Levi also mentioned that Russian President Putin and Ukrainian President Zelensky have expressed willingness to sit down for negotiations, and Trump hopes for direct diplomacy between Russia and Ukraine.
