WLFI Cofounder: Agrees with Vitalik’s View, Stablecoins and Ethereum are Critical Crypto Infrastructure
BlockBeats News, January 8th, Chase Herro, co-founder of the Trump family's crypto project WLFI, stated, "Agree with Li Hua's analysis of WLFI. We believe stablecoins have proven that they will become the medium of exchange in the digital age. Based on this logic, we have decided without hesitation to convert WBTC to ETH! Li Hua has indeed demonstrated unmatched research and execution capabilities!"
Li Hua, founder of Liquid Capital (formerly LD Capital), stated earlier today, "2026 is the first year of financial on-chainization. Stablecoins and Ethereum are the most important infrastructure. WLFI's move today to swap BTC for ETH is believed to be based on the same line of thinking. WLFI's three future paths: firstly, USD1 will soon break through $10 billion, mid-term breakthrough $100 billion, and long-term secure a trillion-dollar share in the $30 trillion stablecoin market. Secondly, USD1 will collaborate with Web2 companies with a billion-dollar market and stablecoin payment advantages far superior to traditional Visa, bringing billions of users into blockchain and stablecoins. Thirdly, in the future multi-trillion-dollar financial on-chain market, USD1 will leverage brand, compliance, ToB, and user advantages to become one of the most important infrastructures. This is the reason and logic behind Liquid Capital's large position in ETH and heavy position in WLFI."

Why AI Tokens Are Rising Faster Than the Broader Crypto Market
AI tokens are outperforming — and not quietly. Bitcoin is moving. Ethereum is holding ground. Yet some of the strongest relative gains are coming from AI-labeled tokens, not majors, not memes. At first glance, this feels intuitive. AI is real technology. It’s shaping industries far beyond crypto. But markets rarely move on intuition alone — especially not this fast. When prices accelerate ahead of adoption, the more useful question isn’t “Is AI important?” It’s which version of the AI story the market is buying — right now.
