Wyoming Issues America's First State-level Stablecoin, FRNT
BlockBeats News, August 19, FOX Business reporter Eleanor Terrett stated that Wyoming has officially launched the Frontier Stable Token (FRNT), becoming the first state in the United States to issue its own stablecoin.
FRNT is backed by the U.S. dollar and short-term treasuries and is currently available on seven blockchains: Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Polygon, Optimism, and Base.
However, due to ongoing regulatory hurdles, the token is not yet open to the public.
