Trump Administration Official Expanding Fed Chair Candidate Pool, Seeking President and Market Trust
BlockBeats News, August 12th, according to Politico, Trump administration officials are expanding the list of candidates to replace Federal Reserve Chairman Powell next year, looking for someone who can gain both the President's and the financial markets' trust.
According to an anonymous government official, the current list of candidates being considered includes: current Fed Vice Chairmen Richard Jefferson and Michelle Bowman, Dallas Federal Reserve Bank President Lori Logan, former St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank President Jim Brad, and macroeconomic advisor Mark Summerlin.
