GameStop disclosed owning 4,710 BTC, Q2 Loss Narrows
BlockBeats News, September 10th. U.S. publicly traded company GameStop disclosed holding 4,710 BTC in the second quarter, with a book value of $529 million and an unrealized gain of $28.6 million. The company's net loss was $18.5 million, narrowing from the previous quarter. Revenue decreased to $674 million, with declines in hardware and software sales but an increase in collectibles sales. The company raised $270 million through convertible bond financing and sold its businesses in Canada and France.
