Tether and Circle Executives to Meet with CEO of Major South Korean Bank

The meeting will focus on the potential distribution and use of the US dollar stablecoin in Korea, as well as the issuance of a Korean won-backed stablecoin. This meeting comes as South Korea prepares to launch a stablecoin regulatory framework in October this year, with the ruling party and the opposition party holding differing views on stablecoin regulation.
