This month’s supply plans
SUI’s month-end net supply increase and ZK’s monthly release cap represent different supply arrangements.
SUI: November planned net supply increase
Monthly net increase / circulating supply Approximately 0.50%
The official plan projects approximately 4.139 billion tokens in circulation at the end of November, an increase of approximately 20.77 million from the end of October.
ZK: monthly investor and team release cap
Release cap / circulating supply ≤1.52%
Investor and team vesting continues through June 2028, with a monthly cap of 0.8% of total supply, equivalent to 168 million tokens.
Supply arrangements for key projects
APT · Aptos
The November calendar records a community vesting plan for November 11. Aptos lists community, foundation, core contributor and investor allocations separately; their supply schedules should be considered separately.
STRK · Starknet
Early contributors and investors currently vest monthly, with a planned date of the 15th of each month and a monthly release cap of 127 million tokens.
ARB · Arbitrum
Team and investor tokens vest monthly after a one-year lockup, with the remaining 75% released over 36 months. The foundation has a separate ongoing linear vesting schedule, counted separately from the team and investor monthly plan.
HYPE · Hyperliquid
The public calendar lists core-contributor vesting for November 6. Check the schedule separately from actual claims, transfers or sales.
SUI · Sui
The official plan provides circulation at each month-end. November’s planned net increase is approximately 20.77 million tokens, a monthly supply change to consider separately from single-day vesting.
ZK · ZKsync
Team and investor vesting continues through June 2028, with monthly releases capped at 0.8% of total supply, or 168 million tokens.
Assessing unlock impact
Supply size
Compare the planned amount and its share of circulating supply to assess relative size, then distinguish one-off releases, monthly vesting and ongoing linear releases.
Recipients and use
Team, investor, community and ecosystem funds have different uses; releases of the same size may have different impacts.
Market absorption
Consider supply alongside trading volume, liquidity and market expectations. Becoming transferable does not mean tokens are immediately sold.
Frequently asked questions
What does a token unlock mean?
A token unlock makes previously vesting- or lockup-restricted tokens eligible for transfer or claim according to a schedule. It may increase potential circulating supply, but does not mean holders sell immediately.
What are November’s key token unlock dates?
The November calendar includes contributor vesting for HYPE on the 6th, community vesting for APT on the 11th, up to 127 million STRK on the 15th, and approximately 92.65 million ARB on the 16th. These are scheduled events, not proof that claims or transfers have occurred.
Why compare unlock size with circulating supply?
This ratio helps compare relative supply size: divide the planned amount by circulating supply at the snapshot time. The same amount may have a greater effect on a token with less circulating supply; also consider volume and liquidity.
Does a token unlock always cause prices to fall?
No. Prices also depend on demand, liquidity and whether markets have already priced in the unlock. Recipients’ use and sale plans after receiving tokens also affect actual supply.
Why do SUI and ZK have no single-day unlock date?
SUI shows a planned net increase in circulating supply at month-end, while ZK shows a monthly release cap. Both should be assessed monthly, not combined into a one-off unlock on a specific day.
How do team, investor and community unlocks differ?
Recipients may have different use and sale plans. Team and investor vesting, community incentives and ecosystem funds should be assessed separately; the amount alone does not establish selling pressure.
