Ask Price

By: WEEX|2024/10/11 10:42:23

The ask price is the lowest price a seller is willing to accept for a cryptocurrency or asset at a given time. In a crypto exchange, the ask price represents the seller’s minimum acceptable amount when offering to sell their holdings. For instance, if someone is looking to sell 1 Bitcoin at $40,000, this is the ask price. Traders often compare the ask price to the bid price (the highest price a buyer is willing to pay) to assess the liquidity and potential price movement of an asset.
