Initial DEX Offering (IDO)

An Initial DEX Offering (IDO) is a type of token sale conducted through a decentralized exchange (DEX). Unlike ICOs, which are often centralized, IDOs allow projects to raise funds without relying on a centralized platform, thus giving participants more control and transparency. In an IDO, tokens are launched directly on the decentralized exchange, where users can trade them immediately. The liquidity is often provided by the project or community members, making it a more decentralized fundraising method. IDOs are becoming popular due to the rise of DeFi, offering lower costs and greater accessibility for both projects and investors compared to traditional ICOs.
