aNFT (Autonomous NFT)

Autonomous NFTs (aNFTs) are a special kind of non-fungible token (NFT) capable of initiating actions or transactions without external control once programmed. These NFTs are powered by smart contracts and a distributed network of bots that allow them to perform functions when predetermined conditions are met. For instance, an aNFT in a gaming scenario could act as a non-playing character, conduct trades, or initiate self-driven decisions in DeFi markets. These features are particularly useful in GameFi and Play-to-Earn ecosystems.
