U.S. Senate Republicans release draft crypto market structure bill to promote regulatory clarity
Odaily News Senator Tim Scott and Cynthia Lummis and others released a draft of crypto market regulation, which is intended to be promoted on the basis of the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act (CLARITY Act) passed by the House of Representatives. The draft requires the SEC to adjust regulatory rules based on the characteristics of crypto assets and define auxiliary assets to clarify the scope of non-securities digital assets. The goal is to reach a legislative consensus before September 30. (The Block)
