What is SLAY?
SatLayer (SLAY) is a cryptocurrency and platform designed to integrate Bitcoin into decentralized finance (DeFi) and other applications by acting as a "economic layer for Bitcoin". It allows users to stake or restake Bitcoin-backed assets, like wrapped Bitcoin or liquid staking tokens, to secure various decentralized applications and protocols. This process, known as Bitcoin Validated Services (BVS), aims to enhance Bitcoin's security and scalability by leveraging its underlying strength.

How Does SLAY Work?

SatLayer enables users to restake their Bitcoin holdings or Bitcoin-backed assets to secure applications and protocols built on the platform.
Bitcoin Validated Services (BVS):
By utilizing Babylon's CosmWasm chain and smart contracts, SatLayer allows developers to build applications that leverage Bitcoin's security for their operations.
Programmable Slashing:
